Yesterday, the northeast was a complete mess for air travel. Canceled flights all over the place which even propagated down to Charlotte. Over 1,000 flights have been canceled in the northeast. Jetblue took a head start and started canceling flights before hand to make sure crews were in the right place so they can get back on schedule after the storm passed. Westchester County Airport in New York, which is already a mess to fly in on a normal day, canceled all flights during the day yesterday due to a corporate jet skidding off the only runway. The jet was a Gulfstream 200 Galaxy coming back from Bermuda. The good news is no one was injured in the incident.
