Oh, I Just Don’t Care!

What a day!! Finally made it to the hotel in Lynchburg. It’s been a crazy day. Here is something that actually happened today. It sums up how the day went.
We were sitting in the plane with all the passengers aboard while we waited for the ramp workers to finish loading the bags in the cargo compartment, and we also need the load paperwork from the gate agent. Well in Charlotte, there is a set of gates that you have to walk down steps from the jetway to get the plane. The gate agent was yelling at the ramp workers who were loading bags in the back at the top of the stairs of the jetway. Well, she was too lazy to walk down the stairs to give the paperwork to them to give to us. The ramp workers were busy with the bags and couldn’t get the paperwork from her. So, she just threw the paperwork at the top of the jetway down on the ground and went back into the terminal. When I told my captain what she did, he couldn’t believe it. So we called the ramp workers up and told them and they went and found the paperwork scattered across the ramp. They called a supervisor over and I guess they were told the gate agent wasn’t going to walk down the stairs from the jetway any more for the night. The supervisor was not happy at al
So that is how the day went in the crazy airline business. 4 legs tomorrow and back home. I hope tomorrow is better. Or else I’m going to need to retire very soon!!
