Almost all pilots and flight attendants generally are very courtious. I’d say a slight majority of gate agents and TSA employees are rude.
I’d guess that 95% of passengers are fine until they are getting jerked around by the airline. Then most of them get rude. However if the airlines knows the plane isn’t going to be flying why not let the passengers know rather than being “surprised” 15 minutes before the flight that the plane never left its last departure point 4 hours ago.
