Pilot Fatigue

After extremely long days last week and multiple flights, I can see how pilots can be very fatigue from the grueling schedules companies give pilots. After a 14 to 16 hour day, you are extremely worn out. I came across this article on the internet from the beginning of June. A summit of pilot union leaders met in Dallas and one of the issues they discussedis this very real problem - Pilot Fatigue.
With the advent of quick turn around flying - I can understand a pilot would be very tired after a long day.

Pilot fatigue shouldn’t happen extremely - its not fair to put that many lives at risk.
