Brazil A320 Plane Crashes in Gas Station
Tonight, I was reading the news and was sadden to see an A320 aircraft operated by Brazil’s Tam Airline slid off the runway and burst into flames. The early reports say it was Tam Linhas Aereas flight 3054 was en route to Sao Paulo from the southern Brazilian city of Porto Alegre with between 150 and 170 people on board. Recent reports say at least 200 lives have been taken in this horrific crash.
When a tragic aviation accident happens in the aviation community, it brings sorrow to everyone who is involved in the aviation field. It is not something we want to see or hear happen at anytime in our lives. My thoughts and prayers go out to everyone who is involved and the lives that were taken in this horrible accident.

This was a terrible accident… I’m still kinda schocked because I usually fly with this airline company and on those airports.
The airplane took off from the airport I fly out, in the capital of Rio Grande do Sul (Porto Alegre), my home State in Brazil. And I have landed several times on this airport where the accident happened.
It’s really hard to understand how it happened — to me, it seems there is something else that we don’t know yet that caused the crash, because the airplane went all the way on the runway and then crashed. This is a passenger view, but I don’t understand how it could not stop or take off again. They say the runway it’s too short but I don’t know… it’s just an unfortunate event.
This event is extremely terrible! Sounds like there might have been a few contributing factors to the whole situation. Well have to wait to see what the investigators say cuz I could speculate all day about it…..
