Fly With Me!!

A couple people have had a question about the route for the proposed Philadelphia, PA to Beijing service. If the Department of Transportation approves this route to US Airways, they will fly the polar route. Here is a nice little graphic that displays this route. Anyone know the estimated flight?

Well I think the flight distance is around 6900 miles… so I would shoot 13h45min non-stop flight.

13 hours is barable - but being 6ft 2 - i would need to be in business.

I didn’t even know it was possible to fly over the poles on commercial flights. I don’t know why I’m surprised. Just never thought about it I guess.

It is possible to fly over the poles, and would makes sense, but I think the main problem is the radiation. A lot of the radiation gets sent to the Poles.
