Another busy week has passed me here at PilotJohn.com. Let’s get right into my favorite post for the week! Today I had time to come back and check the new posts here, I was in DC for the weekend.
By the way, it still amazes me the quantity of airplanes we see taking off there - one after the other.
Israel - How was your weekend? Did you enjoy DC?
There is soo many planes taking off and landing from National..I’ve flown into there quite a few times. It still amazes me how close we are able to get to the capital when flying.

The weekend was great! I had a great time in DC! I was able to go and see things I couldn’t see the first time I was there. And there are lots of things I still have not seen there!
I took a lot of pictures and made some videos too. One actually shows how close to the Pentagon the airplanes fly. I’m still in the process of building a personal website/blog to share different things, the pictures and videos from DC will certainly be there once the website goes live!
