Fly With Me!!

Back to getting the updates on my crazy schedule the past couple of days. On Friday, I came out of Lynchburg in the afternoon and did a round trip to Tri Cities. I had a nice long sit in Charlotte about 3 hours and was going to deadhead up to La Guardia for the night. I had flying out of there to do the next day. I got to my flight to go up to La Guardia, and I was denied boarding. I was a must ride which means they have to give me a seat in the back because they are moving me to another airport to pick up some flying. The flight was oversold and the gate agents wouldn’t give me a seat. I called scheduling, and I was given a hotel in Charlotte for the night.

On Saturday, I caught my flight up to La Guardia to start my trip. When I got there, my captain and flight attendant were stuck in Manchester due to delays getting into La Guardia. They were delayed getting in for about two and and half hours. We finally departed La Guardia three hours late.

Staying overnight in an airport is so so boring - but oh well hope you had some nice days!

Now we know why our flights get delayed! Pilots, captains, flight attendants stuck in other delayed flights… understandable but fair with the passengers?

No Israel it is not fair for the passengers at all. I hate it just as much as them! Altho, that is the way the airlines work. They have to move crews and planes to get where they need to go!

Yeah, I understand that… it is no good for everyone involved. And when I have to fly, I go prepared and knowing I might have to deal with these kind of things.
