Fly With Me!!

As I was browsing the net, I found this wonderful graphic comparing the two most anticipated aircraft - the Boeing 787 Dreamliner and the Airbus A380. The two companies have different philosophies on what airlines and people will want in the next generation of aircraft. Will they want the Airbus idea of carrying up to 850 passengers? or the Boeing idea of a smaller more fuel-efficient aircraft? Let’s compare the Boeing 787 vs Airbus A380.

That’s a nice comparison! I know we won’t see the A380 landing in Congonhas in São Paulo! :-)

Yep you kind of need a 6 million mile runway

I don’t see it landing there anytime in the near future! Sao Paulo would need a brand new airport to support the A380 :)

The A320 already demolished some buildings there to expand the runway! :-)

I personally think that the Boeing looks so much better!

The Airbus 380 is too large — bigger is not necessarily better.

The range numbers for the 787 are misleading. The actual range will be much greater - more like 8500 miles.
