FCX Systems, Inc. designs and manufactures Point-of-Use Frequency Converters. Each solid-state unit is configured in a weatherproof, compact NEMA 3R equivalent rated cabinet (NEMA 4 equivalent completely sealed electronics) requiring minimal space. The most advanced solid-state technology enables these high performance power units to convert any conventional eletrical power to 400Hz aircraft grade power. High performance and high reliability are achieved by using a laminated bus design to practically eliminate transient voltage surges. Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistors (IGBT) inverters are controlled by drivers specifically designed to monitor the health and protect the transistors.
