The NGTAS5100 air/truck engine stand (APS) was designed to transport the Trent 500 by truck with an air ride trailer or on the main deck of a 747 freighter. The stand consists of the TAS5A111 common base and TAS5A208 cradle. A kit can be purchased for mounts to accept the Trent 700 engine. Bootstrapping capabilities are included for raising/lowering the engine and cradle for installation/removal of the aircraft pylon.
Some aircraft applications include the A340-500/600.
