General PJI Transition Questions

Why did we transition to PJI?

In introducing Pilot John International as our new global brand, we are building upon our foundation as an industry-leading GSE company. As we continue to grow,  we look forward to expanding the products and services we offer to help you keep your aircraft ready for takeoff throughout the world. 

What happened to Carolina GSE?

Carolina GSE will remain the parent company of Pilot John International, and we are excited to provide you the same great service you are used to getting from Carolina GSE with new manufacturer partnerships and financing options.  

 

Website & Account Questions

Will my emails still be received if they are going to carolinagse.com?

Absolutely! All of the carolinagse.com emails will be forwarded to our new email addresses. We are making it a seamless transition so we can keep you ready for takeoff!

Will the order.carolinagse.com be discontinued?

This site will be discontinued with the upgrade of PilotJohn.com. Don't worry, your same account and login information will work on the new PilotJohn.com. All account information will follow you including past quotes, orders, and tracking.

 

Purchasing Questions

Do we have a new W9 form?

We will be using the same tax id as Carolina GSE since PJI will be set up as a DBA. If you need a new W9 form, please email accounting@pilotjohn.com.

Can I still make POs out to Carolina GSE?

Yes, definitely! We can still accept POs made out to Carolina GSE since the organizational structure has not changed. If you need new vendor forms completed, please contact our aviation specialists for assistance. 

Can I still pay Carolina GSE?

Since Carolina GSE is the parent company, we will still be able to accept all payments mailed or electronically transferred to Carolina Ground Service Equipment (Carolina GSE). We wanted to minimize any impacts and make the transition as smooth as possible. All of our payment information has not changed. 

Do you have a current ISO Certification?

Our current ISO certificate will still be valid under Carolina GSE as we operating under a DBA of Pilot John International. If you need a copy of this certificate, please request a copy from our aviation specialists.

 

Vendor & Partner Questions

Is there a new sales tax certificate?

The current sales tax certificate is still valid and we will be operating with the same sales tax ID. If you need an updated certificate, please contact our accounting team.
