The Aircraft Jacking Solutions Flat Gear System for Nose Gear (4360-1) is a complete aircraft jacking system engineered for tricycle-gear general aviation aircraft. Designed by A&P/IA John Renquist after years of struggling with inadequate shop jacks, this patented system cradles the spring gear legs in flat lift pads, no belly contact, no risk of airframe damage. The 4360-1 lifts your aircraft safely to 3,800 lbs, supports maintenance on nose gear, main gear, brakes, tires, and wheel fairings.

What's Included

Applications & Compatible Aircraft

The 4360-1 is engineered for tricycle-gear GA aircraft with spring steel landing gear, including Van's RV series, Sling LSA, Piper PA-28 and PA-32 variants, Beechcraft Bonanza, Cessna 172/182/206 series, and comparable single-engine airframes. Ideal for FAA Part 145 repair stations, A&P mechanics, and private owners performing gear, brake, and tire maintenance.

Choosing the Right System

The 4360-1 is the right choice for routine gear, brake, tire, and wheel fairing maintenance. It cradles the spring gear legs and does not provide clearance for full gear leg extraction. If the job requires complete main gear leg removal, the Belly Pad System (4360-3 for Cessna, 4360-8 for Sling/RV) contacts the fuselage belly and allows full gear leg removal. Contact PJi® at phone, email, or chat if you need help selecting the correct system.

Aircraft Maintenance Note

Jacking procedures must be performed in accordance with the aircraft's Maintenance Manual (AMM) or Illustrated Parts Catalog jacking section. Confirm manufacturer-approved jacking points before lifting any aircraft. These systems are designed for use by certificated A&P mechanics and are appropriate for FAA Part 145 certificated repair station environments.
