The TH-53B can tow most single and medium twin aircraft up to 7,000 lbs ramp weight. This unit comes with a ball hitch.

Recommended Options
- Piper manual states tow pins are for hand towing. For powered towing, we suggest the adapter set PN T-P228A.
- For Cessna with wheel pants installed, use PN T-N182A to prevent scratching.

This tow bar was exactly what I needed. I was using a small powered tug to pull my plane in and out of the hangar. This worked fine in the summer but in the winter when there was any amount of snow or ice it would get stuck and I had to call the FBO. I bought an old golf cart with a front hitch and this towbar and it's been so much easier to not only pull the plane in and out but to tow it for fuel, maintenance, etc.

What adapters will I need to move my Cessna 337 and my Cessna 340?
Answer:
You do not need adapters to use this tow bar with either of these aircraft.

I'm interested in a ball hitch towbar for my Piper PA-34. I see that the TR model is recommended, but which adapter is compatible with my aircraft?
Answer:
While the TR-34B towbar will also work, the TH-53B is better suited for this aircraft – no adapter is needed.
