Boeing F70284-1 – Wear Gauge Set for Ground Power Plug & Receptacle

The Boeing F70284-1 Wear Gauge Set is used to check for wear on the pins and sockets of the ground power plug and receptacle. The tool set is ideal for use on all Boeing 707, 727, 737, 747, 757, 767, 777, and 787 models.

The tool measures a disengagement force of 10 lbs. (4.5 kg) for each large pin socket and 5 lbs. (2.3 kg) for each small pin socket on the ground power plug. When used on the ground power receptacle, the F70284-1 acts as a go/no-go gauge by fitting over the receptacle pins. If the gauge will fit over the pins, this indicates that the receptacle pins are worn.

The Wear Gauge Set consists of two gauge assemblies and a scale with 5-lb. and 10-lb. increments.
