The Eaton AE99113M is an Aeroquip 1800 Series Coupling Assembly in Style II configuration, AN size -16 (1"), for petroleum-based MIL-H-5606 and MIL-H-83282 hydraulic fluids. A Style II assembly contains two matched hose-end halves — both attach to flexible hose — enabling a mid-hose quick-disconnect point in hydraulic hose assemblies without a fixed bulkhead fitting. Rated to 3000 PSIG with stainless steel and Nitrile seals provide reliable compatibility with petroleum-based hydraulic media.
Hose-to-Hose Assembly Architecture
- Both halves are hose-end type — mount directly to flexible hydraulic hose assemblies
- Creates an in-line quick-disconnect point in a continuous flexible hose run
- Eliminates the need for a panel-mounted bulkhead fitting at the disconnect point
- Full 1-inch bore maximizes flow capacity for power unit and ground service connections enables in-line disconnects in high-volume ground service connections, main system supply lines, and hydraulic power unit interfaces
The low-profile ratchet lock mechanism — quarter-turn actuation locks the coupling under vibration and pressure cycling with minimal actuation force keeps both mating hose halves locked securely under vibration and pressure cycling. Stainless steel construction meets MIL-C-25427A and AS1709 requirements. The AE99113M is the complete Style II assembly for aircraft flight controls, landing gear systems, and brake hydraulic circuits in -16 (1") (large-bore). Compatible with mil-h-5606 (red) and mil-h-83282 (fire-resistant) hydraulic fluids. Both halves factory matched.
