Shop Sesame Technologies KPC4-750-3 – Aircraft Pitot Probe Cover

The Sesame Technologies KPC4-750-3 is a triple-layer Kevlar® pitot probe cover engineered for pitot tubes measuring 0.750" in diameter and 3.00" in length. Built from DuPont™ Kevlar® and polyaramid fibers, this cover delivers advanced thermal, moisture, and mechanical protection during ground operations, storage, and maintenance across commercial, military, and business aviation platforms.

The three-layer construction provides exceptional durability without scratching or marring the probe surface. Rated for continuous operation at 850°F and heat tested to 1,150°F, the KPC4-750-3 will not melt, burn through, or degrade under extreme ramp conditions — including jet blast and APU exhaust exposure. Sesame's proprietary waterproofing lamina acts as a one-way moisture barrier: condensation and trapped moisture escape outward, while rain, snow, and external water cannot penetrate inward.

The cover is completely metal-free and low particulate, making it safe for use around sensitive avionics, static port systems, and other instrumentation where FOD control is critical. An open-mouth design allows for easy pole-assisted installation and removal from ground level. Built-in Kevlar braid loops provide secure attachment points, and the included NAS1756-compliant red and white warning streamer with printed part number ensures high visibility during pre-flight walkarounds.

The KPC4-750-3 is manufactured in an ISO Class 8 cleanroom in the United States and is built to withstand the daily wear of high-turnover line maintenance and FBO operations.
