QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

Question:
What does the “2-Year TBO” mean for this life vest?
Answer:

“TBO” stands for Time Between Overhaul, and this Switlik Tac-X life vest is sold with a recommended 2-year TBO. This means the vest should be inspected, tested, repaired (as needed), and recertified by an Authorized Service Center in accordance with the latest revision of the CMM, every two years from the date of manufacture. Following the specified TBO helps support compliance and simplifies long-term maintenance planning.
