The TPI 383B is a non-contact infrared thermometer with laser sighting and 8:1 distance-to-spot ratio for surface temperature measurement on aircraft components, HVAC equipment, and electrical systems. Adjustable emissivity enables accurate measurement on surfaces from polished metal to matte paint, composite materials, and rubber — giving the 383B greater versatility than fixed-emissivity IR thermometers. Laser sighting precisely identifies the measurement area for confident targeting. Min/Max recording tracks peak and low temperatures during sweep inspections.
