The Tronair 03A5828-0000 is an aircraft tail stand used to support an airplane by its fuselage during maintenance and inspection. This unit is specifically designed for use on Bombardier Challenger 870 and 890 models, as well as the CRJ 700, 705, 900, and 1000 aircraft.
This tail stand is outfitted with an alarm system that alerts the operator when a force of 100 to 150 lbs (45.4 to 68 kg) is being applied to the top of the cradle. The unit attached to the tail stand sounds a loud 85 dB pulsating alarm until the force is reduced.
