QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
Question:
What is propeller pitch?
Answer:
Propeller pitch, sometimes called blade pitch, refers to the angle between the propeller blade’s chord line (an imaginary line from the leading edge to the trailing edge) and the plane of rotation. It is essentially a measure of how far the propeller would move forward in one rotation.
The distance the propeller would move forward in one rotation can be adjusted by the angle at which the propeller sits on the propeller hub.
