The Flight Data Systems FDS40-0247 is an ARINC-757 CVR Rack Adapter designed for use with the Handheld Multipurpose Interface (HHMPI).
Features
- Allows "in situ" or "in place" CVR downloads and live listening
- Assists in maintenance activities, such as troubleshooting CVR faults without removing the CVR from the aircraft
- Depending on the model of CVR, the adapter supports the cable and software required on the HHMPI to either listen to the live data or to decompress and download files for playback.
