Operation Overview

1. Attach hose assembly to gun; avoid overtightening.

2. Adjust and latch can clamps for a secure fit on the oil can.

3. Pierce the can top with the piercer rod using a rubber mallet or palm strike.

4. Open the bleed screw on the sight gauge; pump until primed (air-free).

5. Connect hose to aircraft service point and pump steadily until done.

6. Disconnect, replace dust plug, and store the gun with oil can latched to prevent contamination.
