Easy to use and handle this jack. It preforms perfectly for lifting the jet. It is great having a lift designed for our specific aircraft. It's design is a perfect fit for lifting and doing the wheels and brakes. Why risk not having the right tool for the job.

Whats not to like about it? It's a bottle jack that does what its supposed to. I did my research before purchasing so i knew what i was getting. Packaging was perfect if not a bit overkill, which is a plus in my book. Purchased Citation M2 wheel change.

Reliable and safe. Compact enough to take on AOG road trips. Used on CE500 series and CE525 series. The jack arrived on time and was very well packed.

Question:
How much does the Tronair 02-7836C0110 axle jack weigh?
Answer:

The jack weighs 60 lbs (27 kg), making it relatively lightweight for its class while still delivering robust lifting power. Its manageable weight allows technicians to transport and position it more easily in hangars or on the ramp. Despite its portability, the steel construction ensures long-term durability and reliability under frequent use.

Asked September 24, 2025
Question:
What hydraulic fluid is recommended for this axle jack?
Answer:

The jack is designed for use with MIL-PRF-5606 hydraulic fluid. This fluid is commonly used in aviation hydraulic systems and provides reliable performance across a wide temperature range. Using the correct fluid helps protect seals and internal components, ensuring the jack operates smoothly and safely.

Asked September 24, 2025
Question:
What type of construction does this axle jack feature?
Answer:

The jack is made of heavy-duty steel for maximum strength and durability. It also incorporates a three-stage telescoping ram, which provides smoother operation and better load handling. This rugged design helps the jack withstand the demanding conditions of daily aircraft maintenance.

Asked September 24, 2025
Question:
How often should the jack be inspected or serviced?
Answer:

Tronair recommends routine inspections every 90 days and a load test once per year. Maintenance includes checking hydraulic fluid levels, inspecting seals, examining welds and base plates for cracks, and ensuring the ram operates smoothly. These regular checks are essential to prolong the jack’s service life and maintain safety.

Question:
What seals are used in this axle jack?
Answer:

The Tronair 02-7836C0110 axle jack uses BUNA-N seals. These seals are known for their resistance to hydraulic fluids, wear, and temperature fluctuations. They play a key role in preventing leaks and maintaining consistent hydraulic pressure during use.

Asked September 24, 2025
Question:
What safety precautions should operators follow when using this jack?
Answer:

Operators must always ensure the jack is positioned on a hard, level surface and that the jack pad rests securely in the aircraft jacking adaptor. The reservoir vent screw must be opened before operating, and hands should never be placed between the jack pad and the aircraft. Following these precautions prevents injury and ensures safe lifting operations.
