The Tronair AGE17074A Ground Test Tool is used to back-drive the ram air turbine (RAT) during ground testing. The tool is comprised of a hydraulic motor, adapter plate, splined adapter shaft, two 20' (6.1 m) pressure supply and return hoses with couplings for connection to a hydraulic cart, and a heavy-duty storage case.
The hydraulic motor provides power and speed capabilities consistent with the requirements of ground test procedures. All ground checkout procedures are to be performed in accordance with the airframer's AMM and RAT manufacturer's instructions.
The AGE17074A Ground Test Tool is specifically designed for use on the Embraer Legacy 450/500 and Gulfstream G650 aircraft.
