The Brackett HT-647A is a helicopter towbar for use with some Apache, Blackhawk, and Chinhook helicopters including AH-64, CH-47, H-60, SH-3 Sea King, S-61, and S-70A.
This towbar is designed for everyday ramp use and can be quickly broken down into three pieces for easy transporting. The pneumatic wheels take the hassle out of moving to and from the aircraft. This tow bar can be converted to an HT-47S with the installation of the HT-47 kit. The assembled overall length is approximately 13 1/2 ft. This allows turning clearance for the horizontal stabilizer when using a Hummer as a tow vehicle.
