The Clyde Machines Model 15F2511 Towbar (15F2511) is a heavy duty aircraft towbar engineered to safely connect a tow tractor or pushback tug to the nose landing gear tow fitting on the Boeing 717, the MD80 family (MD80, MD88, MD90), and the DC9. Built for day to day ramp use, it gives ground crews a stable, controlled towing interface for pushback, gate moves, hangar repositioning, and line maintenance tow operations. The 15F2511 provides the mechanical connection between your tug and the aircraft, transmitting towing and braking forces while helping protect the aircraft tow fitting through a shear bolt design.
