QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
While the ARTS-7000 has the capability to support TCAS and UAT options, these do not come included with this unit. If you need TCAS and UAT functionality on your ARTS-7000, please let us know and we will be happy to include these options in your quote.
Yes. This unit does have a configuration that includes a GPS Signal Simulator. If you're looking for the GPS option to be included, please let us know and we can provide a quote for the ARTS-7000 with the GPS function already installed for you.
Yes. In addition to Nav/Comm, Pulse, and GPS configurations, the ARTS-7000 is capable of supporting VSWR (Voltage Standing Wave Ratio). If you're for the VSWR option to be included, please let us know and we can provide a quote for the ARTS-7000 with the VSWR function already installed for you.
The iPad is not included with a standard ARTS-7000 unit. However, we do provide bundling options that would include the iPad with your unit. If you need an iPad with your ARTS-7000, please let us know and we will be happy to include this in your quote.
Pulse refers to the radio frequency (RF) nature of transponder functionality. Simply put, RF (Radio) is a standard Sine waveform, rising and falling like a wave both equally up and down a specific reference. RF (Pulse) is where Laversab has modified that waveform by gating it. Packets of information are added onto the RF waveform by manipulating it and carrying it at a different rate. This can allow the wave to be a square, sawtooth, triangle, or Sine Wave (Standard RF Radio Wave) for a specific receiver to capture it.
Yes! ELT is part of the NAV module, so it will be included in the 131-0340 NAV/COMM configuration.
Currently, the ARTS-7000 does not have the capability to test ARINC 429. However, continuous improvements are being made to the ARTS unit that will expand its capabilities in the near future.
Once the ARINC 429 option is made available, an upgrade will be an option for those who have already purchased an ARTS unit.
If you have further questions about the testing capabilities of the ARTS-7000 or the systems that it supports, our friendly and knowledgeable aviation specialists will be happy to assist you. Call, email, or chat with us today!
