The Malabar 8774C 3-Bottle nitrogen & hydraulic strut service cart is suitable for all narrow and wide-body aircraft. This low-profile service unit dramatically reduces aircraft landing gear maintenance time. An aircraft equipped with dual-chamber struts may involve at least 10 hours for normal fluid and nitrogen service. The 8774C accomplishes the same task in under 30 minutes.
This model ensures only new fluid is used for refilling aircraft struts by dumping used hydraulic fluid to the waste reservoir. The unit is powered by dual power sources: normal shop air and the onboard nitrogen bottles. For ramp operations, the unit is designed to use the onboard nitrogen in lieu of shop air to operate the hydraulic system. The control console provides easy and convenient operation for all strut service procedures. All panel controls are conveniently placed and easy to operate.
