The Malabar 8942A is a 12-ton capacity single stage hydraulic jack designed for use in aircraft
maintenance. It consists of a tripod structure with integrated dual-leg reservoirs, hydraulic cylinder assembly, hand
pump, swivel casters, locknut with handwheel and optional air pump with a remote air inlet for remote air manifold
operational control and a deadman air valve for individual jack operation.
A separate Air Manifold Kit part number 712020-3 may be purchased for remote air pump operational control.
This Air Manifold Kit can operate three jacks utilizing a single air source.
The jack leg pads are raised off the ground by spring loaded casters. The casters will retract under loading,
allowing the footpads to contact the ground during jacking operations.
