Nav-Aids LF5050 Lubricating Fluid is used to lubricate the glands of the pitot and dual static test adapters. Only a very small amount of fluid is needed to lubricate the adapter's interior glands before installing the adapters onto the aircraft probes.

This process helps prolong the life of the seals by keeping them moist and facilitates the smooth installation of the applicable adapter onto the corresponding aircraft probe.
