Tronair excels in their quality. Price could be lower, but Tronair worthwhile compared to competitors, which are limited. In comparison to the other brands, the paint quality is better, and the quality of materials used is better, and they have a very sturdy feel.

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

Question:
What kind of hydraulic fluid does the Tronair 02-7835C0100 jack use?
Answer:

The Tronair 02-7835C0100 axle jack uses standard MIL-PRF-5606 hydraulic fluid. This widely used aviation-grade hydraulic oil ensures compatibility with aircraft systems and reliability in demanding operating conditions. Technicians can easily replenish or replace the fluid according to the recommended maintenance intervals outlined in the manual.

Question:
What type of seals are used in the 02-7835C0100 axle jack?
Answer:

This axle jack is equipped with durable BUNA ‘N’ seals. These seals are known for their resistance to hydraulic fluid, wear, and high-pressure environments, making them a reliable choice for long-term service. Tronair also offers seal replacement kits to help operators extend the life of the jack and maintain peak performance.

Asked October 1, 2025
Question:
What safety features are built into the Tronair 02-7835C0100 axle jack?
Answer:

The jack incorporates multiple safety elements, including a preset relief/release valve to prevent overloading. Operators are also required to use jack adapters that rest securely in the aircraft jack pad, reducing the risk of slippage. The manual provides clear warnings and cautions to ensure safe lifting procedures, such as opening the reservoir vent screw before operation.

Asked October 1, 2025
Question:
What kind of maintenance does the Tronair 02-7835C0100 require?
Answer:

Tronair recommends both a 90-day inspection and an annual load test to keep the jack in peak condition. Maintenance includes checking hydraulic systems for leaks, inspecting seals and fittings, and ensuring the ram is free of scoring or corrosion. During servicing, all removed O-rings and backup rings should be replaced, and the hydraulic fluid should be flushed and replenished.

Asked October 1, 2025
Question:
How should this jack be stored when not in use?
Answer:

Tronair recommends storing the jack in a clean, dry, and protected environment when not in use. The ram should be fully retracted, and the vent screw closed to prevent contamination or moisture intrusion. Covering the jack with a protective tarp or fitted cover can help keep dust and debris off critical components. Proper storage reduces the likelihood of hydraulic fluid contamination, corrosion, or premature wear, ensuring the jack remains service-ready.

Asked October 1, 2025
