The mobile aircraft cabin pressurization unit utilizes an external compressed air source (not included) to provide a controllable air supply for the pressurization of aircraft cabin and cockpit areas for the purpose of cabin leakage testing, and/or outflow valve tests.
Continuous duty air supply of 200 cfm @ 120 psi (8.3 bar) minimum (150 psi max) is REQUIRED to operate this unit.
Aircraft cabin pressurization unit adapter kits that are sold separately must be used to connect the supply hose from the CPU to the aircraft.
Standard Features
- Continuous duty air supply of 200 CFM at 120 psi (8.3 bar) minimum (150 psi max) REQUIRED for operation of unit
- Verify shop air requirement PRIOR to ordering
- 1 1/2 in (4 cm) 20 ft. (6.1 m) detachable cabin supply hose with quick disconnect
- 1 in (2.5 cm) ID minimum inlet hose required
- Replaceable air inlet filter element
- 30 ft (9.1 m) cabin sensor feedback hose
- 30 ft (9.1 m) door seal supply hose
- Pressure relief valve set at 13.25 to 13.75 psi (.91 to .95 bar)
- Cabin pressure 0 to 15 psi (0 to 0.97 bar) certified gauges
- System pressure 0 to 30 psi (0 to 2.07 bar) certified gauges
- Door seal pressure 0 to 60 psi (0 to 4 bar) certified gauge
- Certified flow meter
- 150 psi (10.3 bar) maximum shop air supply pressure
- 0 to 6,000 ft/minute (0 to 1,829 m/minute) rate of climb indicator
- ATA transport case with wheels and a retractable handle
- CE marked
Compressed Air Connection
Compressed air must be supplied to the cabin pressure tester. The connection is located on the control panel of the machine, and is labeled as SUPPLY AIR IN.
- Maximum pressure: 150 psi (10.3 bar)
- Connection size: 1 inch NPT minimum
- Supply Line size required: 1 inch I.D. up to 100 ft from compressor to CPT
- Airflow requirements: The compressor used must be able to supply airflow greater than the expected leak rate of the aircraft to be tested. Example: Aircraft leak rate = 100 scfm, Compressor airflow delivery should be 125 scfm at 120 psi minimum.
