QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
The ATEQ ADSE744 is designed to support a wide range of aircraft, including high-performance civil jets, military aircraft, and both fixed-wing and rotary-wing platforms. Its versatility comes from its ability to handle different electrical power supplies and pressure systems, ensuring compatibility across multiple fleets. This makes it an ideal tool for MRO facilities, airlines, and military operations with mixed aircraft types.
The ADSE744 enhances efficiency by allowing a single operator to run tests directly from the cockpit or flight deck using its large wireless touchscreen controller. The on-screen help function simplifies procedures and reduces the risk of errors. With built-in pumps and automated self-checks, the tester minimizes setup time and streamlines routine testing tasks.
Reduced Vertical Separation Minimum (RVSM) compliance requires exceptional accuracy in measuring altitude and pressure. The ADSE744 meets these standards by offering high-resolution readings and precise control of static and pitot pressures. This ensures that operators can safely perform RVSM checks without additional equipment.
The unit features a programmable leak test function, enabling operators to verify system integrity under controlled conditions. Users can set parameters in advance, and the tester automatically monitors results, ensuring accurate and repeatable leak measurements. This feature reduces the chance of undetected leaks, which could compromise flight safety.
The ADSE744 is designed for challenging flightline environments, operating reliably between 23°F and 122°F (-5°C to 50°C). It can also be safely stored in conditions ranging from -4°F to 140°F (-20°C to 60°C). The weatherproof housing protects it from dust, moisture, and rough handling, making it dependable for global operations.
Weighing about 40 lbs (18 kg) and housed in a compact weatherproof case, the ADSE744 is easy to transport around airports and hangars. It also comes with an integrated bag for pressure hoses and cables, ensuring that everything needed for testing is stored in one convenient location. This portability makes it particularly valuable for flightline and mobile service teams.
Routine maintenance for the ADSE744 is limited to calibration and external cleaning. ATEQ recommends recalibration every 12 months to maintain accuracy. This low-maintenance design helps operators reduce downtime and service costs.
The ADSE744 delivers highly accurate results, such as altitude measurements within ±3 ft at sea level and airspeed accuracy within ±0.5 kt at 50 kts. Its angle of attack and static pressure measurements are also designed to meet tight tolerances required in modern aviation. This level of precision ensures compliance with regulatory standards and reliable test outcomes.
Yes, the ADSE744 can be configured with optional features such as extended AoA ranges, engine pressure ratio (EPR) measurement, and cabin pressure/outflow valve testing. This adaptability makes it suitable for operators with unique testing requirements across different fleets. Custom software or hardware requests may also be accommodated by ATEQ.
The tester comes standard with Wi-Fi capability, enabling remote control via its touchscreen interface. This allows operators to work inside the cockpit without physically returning to the test set during procedures. By reducing back-and-forth movement, Wi-Fi connectivity improves testing speed and convenience.
The ADSE744 was designed with ease of use in mind, featuring a full-color touchscreen interface with intuitive menus. Test schedules can be pre-programmed and password-protected, reducing operator error and ensuring consistency across teams. These usability features make it suitable even for less experienced technicians.
Each ADSE744 package includes a Wi-Fi remote control, Staubli/AN connectors, flexible hoses, and a durable waterproof transport case. A special bag for cables and hoses ensures accessories stay organized and protected. These included items allow operators to begin testing immediately without requiring extra purchases.
