The KUNZ 132.7100 Aircraft Tire Lock-Ring Adapter is used to remove the clamping ring of flange-mounted aircraft wheels.
Key Features
- Designed for wheels with locking rings instead of torqued wheel halves
- Wheels with locking rings are commonly used for small aircraft such as business jets, turboprop aircraft, and military fighter jets.
- The rounded press tools are used to apply pressure on the outer borders of the wheel half, ejecting the locking ring of the wheel and allowing the disassembly.
- Press tools are made of polyethylene to avoid damage to the wheel half
- Tools can be adjusted in diameter to match different wheel halves
