The Lifesaver 4300 Series is an electric attitude indicator for primary and backup use in fixed-wing and helicopter applications. It boasts an impressive 7,500-hour lifespan, more than double most electric gyros. A key feature is its self-contained battery, which provides one hour of emergency power*, ensuring continued operation even if the main power source fails. The 4300-6XX automatically switches to battery backup without pilot intervention. It uses a single 4-pin connector for easy installation and operates on a wide range of voltages (10-32 VDC). Additional benefits include built-in annunciators, internal emergency lighting, versions to match existing instrument displays, field-replaceable lighting, anti-reflective glass for better visibility, and FAA/RTCA certifications for safety and vibration resistance. The Lifesaver is built in the USA and has a one-year warranty for peace of mind.
