The START PAC 53105 is a 28.5-volt continuous DC power supply when plugged into a 220-volt single-phase AC power. This unit will deliver full 105-amp DC output, but will not provide enough current for engine starting. Therefore, this unit is designed for maintenance and to power up various functions such as inverters, avionics, GPS, etc.

Onboard air conditioning systems are high-draw systems that usually require a minimum of 175A.

This unit is NOT designed for engine starting or battery charging.

I can't believe that something this small and lightweight holds so much energy. As a mechanic, I no longer have to drag around a bulky, noisy engine-driven GPU when I need to work on electrical systems. This is huge for me, because I work at a Part 147 school, and the less noise, then better for the students to hear what is being said.

The power cart does very well. It light and habdy and furnishes the power we need for a 650 Citation.

Been using the smaller 110 volt for 10 years, not enough amperage to power the beechjets and the Hawker, even on the pro line 21 king airs gets electrical cords quite warm. burned up multiple cord ends and three power cables to the start pac. I decided to try the 220 version and it powers all the aircraft in our fleet. Very happy with the device.
