QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

Question:
What is the Tronair 02A1032C0111 aircraft tripod jack used for?
Answer:

The Tronair 02A1032C0111 is used to lift and support aircraft during maintenance, inspections, and repairs. It provides a stable elevation for accessing the landing gear, brakes, and other components. This aircraft hydraulic tripod jack is commonly used in hangars, MRO facilities, and service centers. Its design ensures safe and controlled lifting during routine ground operations.

Asked April 2, 2026
Question:
What is the lifting capacity of this aircraft jack?
Answer:

This Tronair tripod jack has a 10-ton lifting capacity, making it suitable for a wide range of aircraft applications. The high load capacity allows technicians to safely lift and support aircraft components during maintenance. It is designed to handle demanding aviation environments with consistent performance. Always confirm load requirements before use.

Asked April 2, 2026
Question:
What is the benefit of the preinstalled air pump?
Answer:

The preinstalled air pump enables faster, more efficient lifting than manual operation. It reduces operator fatigue and improves productivity during maintenance tasks. The air-powered system provides consistent hydraulic pressure for controlled movement. This makes it ideal for high-frequency use in busy maintenance environments.

Asked April 2, 2026
Question:
How does the ram lock nut enhance safety?
Answer:

The ram lock nut secures the jack in place once the desired height is reached. It prevents unintended lowering of the aircraft during maintenance. This feature provides an added layer of safety when working under load. Proper use of the lock nut is essential for safe operation.

Asked April 2, 2026
Question:
What is the purpose of the hold-to-run air valve?
Answer:

The hold-to-run air valve requires the operator to actively engage the control during lifting. If the operator releases the valve, the lifting action immediately stops. This feature enhances control and reduces the risk of accidental movement. It is an important safety mechanism for air-powered jacks.

Asked April 2, 2026
Question:
How does the pressure relief valve protect the jack?
Answer:

The pressure relief valve prevents the jack from exceeding its rated load capacity. It automatically releases excess pressure during lifting operations. This helps protect both the equipment and the aircraft from damage. It also contributes to safe and reliable long-term use.

Asked April 2, 2026
Question:
Is there a manual version of this aircraft jack available?
Answer:

Yes, a manual version of this aircraft tripod jack is available without the air pump. That model is part number 02-1032C0111. It is suitable for operations where compressed air is unavailable or not preferred. Both versions provide the same lifting capacity and core functionality.
