The Tronair 03A5831-0000 Citation Sovereign 680 Aircraft Tail Stand is used to support an airplane by its fuselage during maintenance, whose maximum load does not exceed the rated capacity of the tail stand. This unit is specifically intended for use on the Cessna Citation Sovereign 680 aircraft.
This tail stand is outfitted with an alarm system that alerts the operator when a force of 100 to 150 lbs (45.4 to 68 kg) is being applied to the top of the cradle. The unit attached to the tail stand sounds a loud 85 dB pulsating alarm until the force is reduced.
