The VIAVI PSD60-2R Fuel Capacitance Test Set is an accurate, stable unit designed to test AC capacitance-type fuel quantity measurement systems and their line-replaceable components.
The PSD60-2R test set – along with aircraft-specific interface units or cables* – provides the complete capability to test most aircraft with AC capacitance systems.
*Aircraft-specific interface cables are required and must be purchased separately.

- Measurement of total tank capacitance, individual tank units, and compensators
- Simulation of capacitance for indicator calibration
- Simulation of compensator capacitance value for dry calibration
- Measurement of the insulation resistance of tank units and aircraft harness

The PSD60-2R adapter cables come in two versions: one with a densitometer and one without. To determine which version you need, consult your Aircraft Maintenance Manual (AMM), as it will specify whether the adapter cable should include the densitometer. We cannot provide advice based solely on the aircraft model.

To use the PSD60-2R for the Airbus A310, parts PSDA310-1 and PSDA310-2 are required.
It can. To work properly, it would also need an interface cable, part numbers PSD60-2R and PSDA300-3.
If the A300-600 is an A300-600R, then you would need those two plus the PSDA300-4.
