QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

Question:
How can I determine if I need the adapter cable with the densitometer for the PSD60-2R to work with my B737NG?
Answer:

The PSD60-2R adapter cables come in two versions: one with a densitometer and one without. To determine which version you need, consult your Aircraft Maintenance Manual (AMM), as it will specify whether the adapter cable should include the densitometer. We cannot provide advice based solely on the aircraft model.

Asked December 21, 2023
Question:
Does the PSD60-2R work with the B737NG?
Answer:

Yes! The Boeing 737NG is the next generation (NG) of Boeing 737s after the classic models. These consist of the -600, -700, -800, 900+ models, which the PSD60-2R covers.

Asked December 21, 2023
Question:
Can this unit be used with the Airbus A310?
Answer:

To use the PSD60-2R for the Airbus A310, parts PSDA310-1 and PSDA310-2 are required.

Asked January 23, 2024
Question:
Can this unit be used with the Airbus A300-600s?
Answer:

It can. To work properly, it would also need an interface cable, part numbers PSD60-2R and PSDA300-3.

If the A300-600 is an A300-600R, then you would need those two plus the PSDA300-4.

Asked January 23, 2024
Question:
Can this unit be used with the Airbus A300?
Answer:

For the Airbus A300, the PSD60-2R would need PSDA300-1 and PSDA300-2. If needed, an additional level sensor tester, part PSDA310-2, can be required. Please contact us for assistance in ordering these parts.

Asked January 23, 2024
Question:
Does this unit replace the PSD60-2?
Answer:

Yes, the PSD60-2R is the direct supersede to the PSD60-2 from VIAVI. It has the same fit, form, and function as its predecessor.
