The Tronair 02A7815C0110 is a 10-Ton (20,000 lb) hydraulic aircraft tripod jack engineered to lift aircraft from the forward fuselage or main wing jacking points during maintenance, inspections, and ground operations. With a 28" (71.1 cm) closed height and 72" (182.9 cm) maximum extended height, it accommodates a range of aircraft fuselage and wing jacking point heights. The two-stage hydraulic design provides controlled lift and positive lock at any extension height. A factory-installed air pump allows rapid initial extension without additional equipment. CE-marked for compliance with European aviation safety standards. OEM-specified for Cessna Citation 560 XL, Citation 560 XLS, Citation Sovereign 680 and others.

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

Question:
What is the Tronair 02A7815C0110 aircraft tripod jack used for?
Answer:

The Tronair 02A7815C0110 is used to lift and support aircraft during maintenance, inspections, and repair operations. It is typically positioned under the fuselage or wing using the appropriate jack pad. Multiple jacks are often used together to maintain aircraft balance during lifting. This ensures safe and stable ground servicing.

Asked April 8, 2026
Question:
What does “two-stage” mean in this aircraft jack?
Answer:

A two-stage jack uses multiple hydraulic ram stages to extend to greater heights while maintaining stability. The larger ram extends first, followed by the smaller stage, allowing for controlled lifting. This design provides both strength and extended reach. It also improves lifting precision during aircraft maintenance.

Asked April 8, 2026
Question:
Does the Tronair 02A7815C0110 include an air pump?
Answer:

Yes, this model comes preinstalled with an integrated air-driven hydraulic pump. The air pump allows faster, more efficient lifting than manual pumping alone. It operates using shop air (up to 125 PSI) to drive the hydraulic system. This reduces operator effort and improves productivity.

Asked April 8, 2026
Question:
Can the jack be operated manually as well?
Answer:

Yes, the 02A7815C0110 can be operated using both a manual hydraulic pump and the integrated air pump. This dual-operation capability provides flexibility in different maintenance environments. If compressed air is unavailable, technicians can still lift the aircraft manually. This ensures reliable operation in all scenarios.

Asked April 8, 2026
Question:
What safety features are included with this aircraft jack?
Answer:

The jack includes ram locknuts, which serve as critical safety devices to secure the load once lifted. Proper use of these locknuts is essential to prevent accidental lowering or collapse. The unit also requires stable placement on a level surface and coordinated lifting with other jacks. These features help ensure safe aircraft handling.

Asked April 8, 2026
Question:
What type of maintenance is required for this tripod jack?
Answer:

Routine maintenance includes checking hydraulic fluid levels, inspecting seals and O-rings, and ensuring all components are clean and properly lubricated. The jack should be cycled (fully extended and retracted) periodically to maintain seal integrity. Annual load testing is recommended to verify performance. Regular maintenance helps extend service life and reliability.

Asked April 8, 2026
Question:
What hydraulic fluid is used in this aircraft jack?
Answer:

The jack uses MIL-PRF-5606 hydraulic fluid, a standard aviation-grade fluid. Maintaining the correct fluid level is important for proper operation and performance. Fluid should be checked with the ram fully retracted. Clean, uncontaminated fluid helps prevent internal wear and system failure.

Asked April 8, 2026
Question:
What environments is this aircraft jack suitable for?
Answer:

The Tronair 02A7815C0110 is designed for use in hangars, maintenance facilities, and other controlled aviation environments. It should be operated on clean, level surfaces to ensure stability. The recommended operating temperature range is approximately -4°F to 122°F. Proper storage and environmental conditions help protect the jack and maintain performance.
