The Tronair 03A5849C0000 is an aircraft tail stand used to support an airplane by its fuselage during maintenance, whose maximum load does not exceed the rated capacity of the tail stand. This unit is specifically intended for use on the Bombardier Global 7500 and Global 8000 aircraft.
The tail stand is equipped with an alarm system that alerts the operator when a force of 100 to 150 lbs (45.4 to 68 kg) is applied to the top of the cradle. The unit attached to the tail stand sounds a loud 85 dB pulsating alarm until the force is reduced.
