QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
No. The FoxCart 1200 GPU is designed exclusively for single-phase input voltage. If you need a 3-phase input voltage rectifier, you will need to upgrade to a FoxCart 1600 or FoxCart 2000 GPU.
No, the FoxCart 1200 does not include a plug on the input cable. You will need to install the correct hangar plug that matches your facility’s electrical outlet. If you need help determining the proper plug for your setup, our team is happy to assist.
FoxCart recommends operating the FoxCart 1200 GPU on a 200-amp service during starter assist applications to ensure proper performance.
The key difference is power output. As a single-phase ground power unit, the FoxCart 1200 provides 600 amps of continuous power and 1,200 amps of peak power. The more powerful FoxCart 1600 provides 800 amps of continuous power and 1,600 amps of peak power, making it better suited for aircraft requiring higher starting or continuous power.
The FoxCart 1200 GPU ships via standard LTL freight and arrives fully crated from the factory or our facility. You will need a forklift to unload the crate upon delivery. If you do not have a forklift and require a liftgate, please notify us at the time of quotation.
Routine maintenance is minimal because the FoxCart 1200 has only two moving components: the wheels and the fan motor. Periodic upkeep should include inspecting the oil-fan motor and movable parts, cleaning dust and debris with compressed air and a dry cloth, tightening any loose hardware, and checking all cables and plugs for wear, cuts, or deterioration. Please refer to the included manual for the most up-to-date maintenance guidance.
The FoxCart 1200 includes a 100-foot (30.5 m) input cable, but it does not include a hangar plug. An electrician will need to install the appropriate plug on-site once the unit arrives at your facility.
