The Tronair 03A5802C0000 Tail Stand is used to support an airplane by its fuselage during maintenance, whose maximum load does not exceed the rated capacity of the tail stand. This unit is intended for use on select Bombardier (Business), Cessna, and Embraer aircraft.
This tail stand is equipped with an alarm system that alerts the operator when a force of 100 to 150 lbs (45.4 to 68 kg) is applied to the top of the cradle. The unit attached to the tail stand sounds a loud 85 dB pulsating alarm until the force is reduced.
